BannerFit Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app BannerFit.
Basic Policy
BannerFit edits user-selected photos for social media headers and covers, then lets users save or share the results.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, location information, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics data through BannerFit.
Photos and Image Processing
BannerFit loads only photos explicitly selected through Apple's system photo picker. It does not read the user's entire photo library.
Importing, editing, thumbnail generation, and export are performed on the device. Photos and edits are not uploaded to CAEN servers.
Exported images do not include location data or other metadata from the original image.
Project Storage
To support continued editing, BannerFit stores a copy of the selected source image, edit settings, and a thumbnail in the app's protected storage.
Deleting a project removes its stored source-image copy and edit settings. It does not delete the original photo from the photo library.
Deleting the app removes projects stored inside the app. Export finished images to Photos or Files for safekeeping.
Photo Library Access
BannerFit uses Apple's system photo picker to select photos.
Add-only photo library permission is requested only when saving a finished image to Photos. If permission is not granted, the share sheet can still be used to save the image to Files or another destination.
Accounts, Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
BannerFit does not require account registration or login.
BannerFit does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Sharing with Third-Party Services
When a user shares an image, its handling by the selected app or social platform is governed by that service's terms and privacy policy.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
