Here is how to use ColorClarify and resolve common questions.
How to use ColorClarify
- Tap Choose a Photo and select Photos, Camera, Files, or Clipboard.
- Choose Protan, Deutan, or Tritan correction.
- Adjust correction strength with the slider.
- Move the divider left or right to compare the original and adjusted image.
- Use Share or Save to Photos to export at the original pixel dimensions.
Correction modes
- Protan: adjustment intended to make red-related differences easier to distinguish.
- Deutan: adjustment intended to make green-related differences easier to distinguish.
- Tritan: adjustment intended to make blue-yellow differences easier to distinguish.
Color perception varies. Adjust the strength until the result is useful and comfortable for you.
Before contacting support
If saving fails, check that ColorClarify is allowed to add images to Photos in iPhone Settings. The Camera option is available only on a physical iPhone.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. Importing, adjustment, and export all happen on your iPhone.
Does ColorClarify overwrite the original image?
No. The adjusted image is saved as a new file or photo.
Can I use ColorClarify for diagnosis?
No. ColorClarify helps make color differences easier to distinguish and is not a medical diagnostic tool.
