Thank you for using FormulaCalc. Here are the essentials and the fastest ways to resolve common issues.
Getting started
- Enter numbers and operators, then tap the equals key. You can edit the complete expression before or after calculating.
- Tap ƒx to reveal trigonometry, logarithm, root, and other scientific function keys.
- Tap DEG or RAD to change the angle unit.
- Open History to reuse an expression or insert a previous result into the current expression.
History and settings
History supports search, favorites, individual or complete deletion, and text export. Settings include result format, significant digits, digit grouping, haptics, and appearance.
If an expression cannot be calculated
- Check matching parentheses and the required number of function arguments.
- Check for division by zero or values outside the domain of roots and logarithms.
- For trigonometric calculations, confirm the DEG or RAD setting.
- Quit and reopen the app, then check whether the same expression still causes the issue.

FAQ
Is my calculation history sent to a server?
No. History and settings are stored on your iPhone and are not sent to our servers.
Is there a subscription or any additional purchase?
No. FormulaCalc is a one-time purchase and has no in-app purchases.
Will history transfer to a new iPhone?
FormulaCalc has no separate sync service. Behaviour after restoring a full iPhone backup depends on Apple's backup settings.
