FrameTick Privacy Policy
CAEN Inc. ("we") establishes this Privacy Policy for the iOS app FrameTick (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect or transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, usage history, or other personal information to our servers or any third-party server.
The App requires no account and uses no advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
2. Selected Videos and Generated Files
Videos explicitly selected from Photos or Files are used only to extract still images and are processed entirely on the device. Videos, extracted images, and ZIP archives are not uploaded to an external server.
Temporary files are stored in the App's cache and deleted when another video is opened, the workspace is closed, or the App is next launched. Files exported to Photos or Files remain under the user's control.
3. Photos Access
The App requests add-only Photos permission only when the user chooses to save generated images. It does not use that permission to read the full photo library.
Video selection uses the iOS PhotosPicker or Files picker. The App can access only items explicitly selected by the user.
4. Settings Stored on Device
Extraction interval, image format, resolution, quality, and the state used to avoid repeating the system review prompt are stored in iOS UserDefaults. They remain on the device and are not sent to us.
5. External Services and Payments
The App includes no advertising, analytics, cloud processing, login, or in-app-purchase service. The App's upfront purchase is processed by Apple's App Store, and we do not receive payment-card information.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy in response to legal, operating-system, or App changes. Material changes will be announced on this page or in the App Store listing.
