FAQ
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. Icon search, customization, and export work entirely on your device, and no account registration is required.
I cannot save an image to Photos.
Check the Settings app and make sure Icon Pocket is allowed to add images to Photos. If you do not want to grant that permission, you can still use the share button to save a PNG or SVG to Files.
Can I keep the background transparent?
Yes. Select Transparent under Background to export a PNG with transparent pixels. Because transparency may look different inside Photos, you can also use the share button and choose Save to Files when using the image in another app.
What is the difference between PNG and SVG?
PNG is widely supported by photo, presentation, note-taking, and social apps. SVG keeps its sharp edges when enlarged and is suited to compatible design apps and printing workflows. SVG files are available from the share button.
Which image sizes are available?
PNG and SVG exports are available at 512, 1024, or 2048 pixels. You can change the default size in Settings and adjust it again before saving each icon.
Can I use exported icons commercially?
The included icons are based on Lucide Icons, which permits commercial use under the ISC License. The MIT License also applies to certain Feather-derived icons. Review Icon License in the app before use and consider any third-party rights related to your intended use.
Do favorites and history sync to another device?
No. Favorites, history, and settings are stored only on the iPhone you are using. Deleting the app removes this in-app data, while icons already saved to Photos or Files remain available.
