IconSeed Terms of Use
These Terms of Use define the conditions for using the iOS app IconSeed provided by CAEN Inc. Please review these terms before using the app.
Scope
These terms apply whenever you use IconSeed.
By using IconSeed, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
App Features
IconSeed lets users generate and save avatar icons from names, random text, styles, colors, and shapes.
CAEN Inc. may change, add, suspend, or discontinue app features, display, specifications, or included palettes as needed.
Subscriptions
IconSeed may offer auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock additional color palettes.
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Prices, renewal periods, payments, cancellations, refunds, family sharing, and related conditions are governed by Apple's terms and Apple Account settings.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled by the user. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Purchased access may be restorable with the same Apple Account. Please use the restore function in the app.
Generated Images
Images generated and saved with IconSeed may be used by the user as long as such use does not violate laws or third-party rights.
Users are responsible for managing generated images and resolving any disputes related to their use, saving, or sharing.
Prohibited Actions
Users must not engage in the following actions when using IconSeed.
- Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
- Actions that infringe third-party rights, privacy, or reputation
- Actions that cause damage to CAEN Inc. or third parties
- Analyzing, modifying, abusing, or using the app beyond normal use
- Any other action CAEN Inc. determines to be inappropriate
Intellectual Property
Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to IconSeed belong to CAEN Inc. or the rightful owners.
IconSeed includes avatar generation functionality inspired by Boring Avatars under its open source license. Applicable notices are included in the app or distribution materials.
Disclaimer
CAEN Inc. does not guarantee that IconSeed will fit a particular purpose, always operate accurately or continuously, or be free from defects.
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by CAEN Inc., CAEN Inc. is not liable for damages caused by use or inability to use IconSeed, loss of generated images, or device environment issues.
Changes to These Terms
CAEN Inc. may update these terms as needed. The updated terms will be posted on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute related to IconSeed will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court specified by applicable law.
