Image QR Reader Privacy Policy

Image QR Reader is provided by CAEN Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect personal information, images, decoded QR content, scan history, device identifiers, usage data, or diagnostic data through the app.

The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it embeds no third-party SDKs.

3. Image and QR Code Processing

Photos and screenshots you select are analysed on your iPhone using on-device frameworks provided by Apple. Images and analysis results are not sent to our servers.

Selected images are discarded after reading. Local history stores only the decoded text and the time it was read.

4. On-Device Storage

Scan history and favourites are stored only on your iPhone. You can delete individual entries or all history within the app.

Deleting the app also removes its local history through the normal behaviour of iOS.

5. Photo Selection and External Actions

An image is provided to the app only when you explicitly select it in the iOS system picker or share it from another app.

When you choose to open a decoded URL, compose a message, or share content, that content is passed to the destination you select. The destination service's privacy policy applies to that service.

6. Sharing and Retention by Us

Because we do not collect or store app data, there is no app data retention period, sale, or disclosure by us to third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

Image QR Reader does not collect data from users of any age, including personal information from children without parental consent.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. We will revise the date on this page and provide appropriate notice for material changes.
