Image QR Reader Support
Choose photos and Image QR Reader analyses their QR codes on your device, then shows the decoded content.
How to Use the App
- Tap Choose Photos.
- Select between 1 and 20 saved photos or screenshots.
- When reading finishes, review the detected content for each image.
- Copy, share, or open the content in a compatible app.
Use from the Share Menu
Share images from Photos or another app and choose Read with Image QR to analyse them without reopening the main app. The Share extension accepts up to 10 images.
History and Favourites
Text decoded in the main app is stored in local history on this iPhone. You can search the history, swipe to add a favourite, or delete entries.

If you still need help, email [email protected] with your iOS version, image format, steps, and any message shown. Do not send images or decoded content containing personal information or Wi-Fi passwords.
FAQ
No QR code was found
Use a focused image that includes the entire QR code and its surrounding margin. If the code is very small, enlarge it on screen and take a new screenshot.
An iCloud photo could not be loaded
The image may not be downloaded to your iPhone. Check your connection, open it in Photos, and try again.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. QR analysis stays on your iPhone, and selected images are discarded after reading.
Will a risky link open automatically?
No. The app shows the host first. It also warns before opening HTTP links, internationalised domains, or URLs containing user information. You should still review every URL yourself.
How do I erase my data?
Swipe an item in History to delete it. You can also delete all history from the History menu or the About screen.
