Basic Policy
Mekakushi Shogi is an app for playing shogi against an on-device CPU without displaying a board.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics through Mekakushi Shogi.
Information Stored on Your Device
The current position, move records, game history, results, clocks, speech settings, and appearance settings are stored on your device to provide the app's features.
This information is not sent to CAEN servers or third-party analytics services. You can delete game history from the app's settings.
Sharing Game Records
Only when you choose to share a KIF game record does the iOS share sheet provide that file to a destination you select.
Information handled by the selected destination is governed by that service's or app's terms and privacy policy.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
Mekakushi Shogi does not require account registration or login.
The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking technology, or an external shogi engine. CPU games are processed on the device.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
