PerfLens Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the Safari extension app PerfLens.
Basic Policy
PerfLens is a paid one-time Safari extension app for summarizing current page load metrics and resource breakdowns, then copying them as Markdown or JSON.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, browsing history, page body text, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics data through this app.
Page Information
PerfLens processes information from the currently displayed page locally inside the Safari process only when you explicitly run the Safari extension.
It reads performance and resource information held by the browser for the current page, then summarizes speed metrics such as TTFB, resource breakdowns by type, and large resources locally.
Processed page data, summaries, and report contents are not sent to CAEN servers or third-party services. The app and Safari extension do not perform any network communication.
Clipboard Copying
Markdown report and JSON data copy features write to the device clipboard only when you choose a copy action.
You are responsible for managing copied contents and for how they are handled by any destination where you paste them.
Extension Permissions
The Safari extension uses the activeTab and scripting permissions.
These permissions are used to process the current tab when you run the extension. The extension does not have continuous access to browsing history, does not monitor pages in the background, and does not perform cross-site tracking.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
This app does not require account registration or login.
This app does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Purchase Information
PerfLens is offered as a paid one-time purchase on the App Store. Purchases, refunds, receipts, and payment methods are managed by Apple.
CAEN Inc. does not receive credit card numbers, Apple Account passwords, billing information, or similar payment details.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
