PodWindow Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app PodWindow.
Basic Policy
PodWindow is an iOS app for viewing new episodes from saved podcast shows in a list and widgets.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics through PodWindow.
Information Stored on Your Device
Saved feed URLs and show details, fetched episode details, read status, notification and display preferences, playback position, and temporary artwork caches are stored in the app's on-device storage or the shared container used by the app and widget.
This information is not sent to CAEN Inc. servers. You can delete stored app data from PodWindow settings.
Network Requests to External Services
Your device connects directly to Apple's public search service when you search for shows, to the public RSS or Atom host for saved shows when you refresh them, and to each publisher or CDN when you stream audio.
Those services may process IP addresses, User-Agent strings, and similar information required for ordinary internet communication under their own policies. CAEN Inc. does not collect your search, subscription, or playback history through PodWindow.
Notifications
If you grant permission and enable notifications for a show, PodWindow schedules local notifications on your device. You can disable them at any time in PodWindow or iOS Settings.
Accounts, Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
PodWindow does not require registration or login and does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Contacting Support
If you voluntarily contact us by email or another listed method, CAEN Inc. uses the information you provide only to respond to your request. The app does not automatically send the content of a support request.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
