TextHush Privacy Policy
TextHush is a privacy tool. Image processing stays on your device, and CAEN Inc. does not collect your images or usage data.
1. Provider
TextHush is provided by CAEN Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Data We Collect
We do not collect personal information, images, text contained in images, usage history, device identifiers, or diagnostic data through TextHush. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
No third-party SDKs are embedded in the app.
3. Image Processing
Text detection and editing are performed on your iPhone using on-device frameworks provided by Apple. Your images and detection results are not sent to our servers.
An exported image is passed to a destination only when you choose to share or save it. The privacy policy of the selected destination applies to that service.
4. Device Permissions
- Camera: Used only when you choose to take a photo in the app.
- Add to Photos: Used only when you choose to save an edited image to your photo library. TextHush does not request broad read access to your existing photo library.
If you decline a permission, you can still use available alternative import methods or save to Files from the share sheet.
5. Data Storage and Sharing
Because we do not collect or store app data, there is no app data retention period, sale, or disclosure by us to third parties.
6. Children’s Privacy
TextHush does not collect data from users of any age, including personal information from children without parental consent.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. We will revise the date on this page and provide appropriate notice for material changes.
