FAQ

Text was not detected

Choose Add Area and drag over the text. Small, low-contrast, decorative, or vertical text may not be detected.

Why is the Export button disabled?

To prevent accidental sharing of an unchanged image, export is available only when at least one redaction area is enabled. Select a detected box or add an area manually.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Text detection and editing stay on your iPhone. TextHush does not upload images to our servers.

Will my original photo be changed?

No. The edited result is shared or saved as a new image.

I do not want to allow Add to Photos

Use Share and choose Save to Files or another destination. Add-only photo permission is requested only when you choose Save to Photos.
