TextLens Terms of Use
These Terms of Use define the conditions for using the Safari extension app TextLens provided by CAEN Inc. Please review them before using the app.
Scope
These terms apply whenever you use TextLens.
By using TextLens, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
App Functionality
TextLens is a Safari extension app for showing word count, character count, reading time, readability scores, and frequent terms for a page or selected text, then copying a Markdown report.
Page processing is performed on the device only when you run the extension. CAEN Inc. may change, add, suspend, or discontinue app features, displays, or specifications when necessary.
Purchase
TextLens is a paid app available through a one-time purchase on the App Store.
Purchase conditions, payments, refunds, Family Sharing, and re-download availability are governed by Apple's terms and App Store settings.
Usage Notes
The summaries, inspection results, and reports displayed by this app are reference information intended to support your review work.
CAEN Inc. does not guarantee the content of target pages, the completeness or accuracy of analysis results, or fitness for a specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing the displayed contents and deciding how to copy, share, or use them.
Prohibited Actions
Users must not engage in the following actions when using TextLens.
- Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
- Actions that infringe the rights, privacy, or reputation of third parties
- Actions that cause damage to CAEN Inc. or third parties
- Analysis, modification, misuse, or use beyond normal operation of the app or extension
- Other actions deemed inappropriate by CAEN Inc.
Disclaimer
CAEN Inc. does not guarantee that TextLens will fit a user's specific purpose, operate accurately or continuously, or be free of defects.
Except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by CAEN Inc., CAEN Inc. is not liable for damages caused by use or inability to use TextLens, decisions based on displayed results, use of copied contents, device environments, or target-site specifications.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with TextLens, the court with jurisdiction under applicable law will have exclusive jurisdiction.
