ScriptScroll Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app ScriptScroll.
Basic Policy
ScriptScroll is a PDF viewer designed to make vertically written scripts easier to read on iPhone.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, contacts, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics data through ScriptScroll.
PDFs and Reading Data
PDFs added to the app are stored locally inside the app.
PDF contents, file names, bookmarks, last reading positions, and reading settings are managed on your device and are not uploaded to CAEN servers.
When you delete the app, PDFs and related data stored inside the app may also be deleted. Please keep separate copies of important PDFs.
In-App Purchases
ScriptScroll may offer in-app purchases through Apple's StoreKit to unlock additional features and remove the PDF storage limit.
Purchase processing, payment information, and refunds are managed by Apple. CAEN Inc. does not receive credit card numbers, Apple Account passwords, or billing information.
The app checks StoreKit purchase information on your device to determine whether Pro features are unlocked.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
ScriptScroll does not require account registration or login.
ScriptScroll does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Transmission to Third-Party Services
ScriptScroll uses Apple's StoreKit to verify in-app purchases.
Other than that, ScriptScroll does not send PDFs, reading data, or usage information to third-party services.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
